If you’re considering buying a home in Citadel, I’ve put together some info about this thriving NW community.

Citadel is located in NW Calgary along Country Hill Blvd.  It is located on Country Hills Blvd and NW Stoney Trail.  Citadel was established in 1993.  There are a range of single family homes and condos in Citadel.  Citadel is a very family orientated neighborhood.  Even although they don’t have a community centre, Citadel does have a community association. 

Citadel is unique in that the roads in Citadel were designed in the shape of a wheel with spokes.  Citadel has a large central green space.  The neighborhoods has pathways, a hockey rink, baseball, tennis and open green spaces.  The neighborhood also has a senior program. 

Canadian Superstore and Costco close by.  Also Wal-Mart located not far.  Crowfoot Shopping Centre and LRT Station about 10 minutes away.

If you’re heading out to the mountains, Stoney Trail is about 5/10 minute drive.
