The CHR disclosed to the public that the following conditions to exist in and about the above noted food establishment which are or may become injurious or dangerous to the public health or which might hinder the prevention or suppression of disease, namely:

 

a. Grease, food, dust, and dirt accumulation throughout premise. Grease trap overflowed onto floor of dishwashing area. Unsanitary conditions exist throughout.

 

b. Fruit flies abundant throughout front bar area.

 

c. Food contact surfaces are not being cleaned and sanitized properly. Rags used to clean are not being held in sanitizer.

 

d. Staff have little, if any, food safety knowledge and handle food in a manner that is unsafe.

 

e. Cleaning schedules are not posted or followed by staff.

 

f. Only one of the restaurant’s staff is certified in food safe.

 

g. Paint is peeling from ceiling and door of cooler. Portion of wall underneath bar is mouldy and has broken away from the rest of the wall. The west wall to the left of the dishwasher has a sizeable hole, allowing drywall to crumble onto surfaces beneath.

 

h. Hand sink closest to walk-in cooler has a broken hot water tap. Water from front bar sink is continuously dripping onto floor causing a build-up of orange mould/film.

 

i. Staff bike is being stored directly against containers used to hold food.
