CALGARY FLAMES REASSIGN DUSTIN BOYD TO OMAHA (AHL)

Calgary Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter announced today center Dustin Boyd has been reassigned to the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the American Hockey League.

Boyd, who was recalled from Omaha on Wednesday, November 1, played in two road games for the Flames, November 1st in Detroit and November 3rd in Columbus.

In two games played, Boyd was a -1 in 18:32 minutes of ice time, had one blocked shot, and was unsuccessful in his shoot out attempt.

The Flames drafted Boyd in the third round, 98th overall, in the 2004 Entry Draft.

The Calgary Flames will finish up their three game road trip in St. Louis (7:00pm CT) tonight before returning back to Calgary. The Flames next game will be Tuesday, November 7th as they host the Dallas Stars at the Pengrowth Saddledome.
